Mission statement
We publish scientific papers about information technology, applied as a tool in various areas, e.g. for research or education. The papers are strictly reviewed by 2 scientists in order to ensure the excellent level of the journal. Main topics of the papers are:
- how does IT help to reach goals which have never been reached before (e.g., use of simulation, streaming video or virtual reality (VR) in education, culture presentation, etc.)
- how do these IT applications work (technical description etc.)
- how does IT contribute to a better understanding of scientific topics (e.g., description of cognitive processes enhanced by IT applications; user studies etc.)
- which implications can be seen - scientific progress, pedagogical and social implications (e.g., advancement in medicine through information technology and information processing methods; social aspects such as inclusion of remote students, etc.)
